I've had Infinity in place for a week now and have been keeping a close eye on the useage as I cant risk being shut down to 1-2 Mb for 30 days.
I put a Netgear WNDR3700 in place of the supplied HH2 as I needed some aditional features, but one thing I like is the router tracks all I/O through the WAN port.
As of this morning the router is showing around 60Gb which given what I know I have downloaded is about where I would expect it to be. Looking on the BT website, my billing date is from 12th Feb (the original planned install date) and the service went live on 24th but the Broadband usage is only showing 10Gb.
Unless the reset date no longer aligns to the commencement of service (24th) or billing date (12th) it appears that the usage is significantly less than what was actually used. Most of the traffic is encrypted usenet but I would not expect that to have a bearing on whether the bandwidth is counted or not.
