Well that's the easy solution dead frown. As you expected, it is a 10Mbps upstream connection.

Have you raised it as a problem with BT? It does look as though somewhere in the system there may be a 2Mbps cap in error.

What is in the JDSU that gets to it I have no idea. It may even be getting it from the DSLAM.

...the JDSU replicates the VDSL modem, and as such can allow you to see the connected lines stats. You can even set it up to make a PPoE connection over it, the browser function is poor at best.

Thanks z
Zarjaz.

must have been too busy looking at the figures to see how it was connected. I thought it was to the ethernet output, but from what you say it must hoave been the line itself.

Hi guys, my upstream mystery solved. When I got connected, the engineer found that the HH3 that came in the post was faulty so he installed a HH2 he had in the van instead. I asked BT if this was ok, they said that they would send out a replacement HH3 anyway (our very own "BT_Care" guy also said that he would sort this if I needed, so kudos to him, and to BT support all round)
Anyhoo the HH3 turned up today, lashed it up and changed my WPA keys, and woop de doo, upstream 8-9 Mbs!
