I've got a digital video recorder (DVR) setup that I can use to remotely view a CCTV camera.
I set up the DVR to send me an e-mail alert when certains events occured.
I had email alerts working a couple of weeks ago but now it doesn't work and I didn't change any settings.
My ISP is BT but I've got an e-mail account with123reg. I'm attempting sending e-mail via the 123reg account.
I'm wondering whether it doesn't work anymore because either BT or 123reg have now blocked it. I was thinking this because when I initially got the emails working, I accidently sent a lot (20 or 30) (each with a jpeg attachment) within a short space of time. I was think that they may see this as unusual and therefore block it. Could this be the cause ?
Any ideas on this ?
