Draytek Vigor 2750n, Infinity and DNS addressing

Folks,

Odd thing with my Vigor 2750n (firmware v1.5.1) connected to BT Infinity at the moment.
The primary and secondary DNS addresses are set to the same address !

In my case 62.6.40.178 for both - any one else seeing a similar issue ?

Of course I don't have these manually configured in the router and they should be being set by the BRAS as part of the PPP session setup - the router log files indicate as such.

Any ideas ?

Ok, no replies in a few weeks so I fished the Home Hub 3 out of storage and gave it a whirl.

Exactly the same problem - primary and secondary DNS have the same IP address.

Odd. I guess I'll have to hardwire my DNS settings locally.

On the plus side, my VDSL profile has switched from 8c to 17a, presumably in readiness for speed upgrade next year - seems to have given me an extra 5Mbps (now 40Mbps) while I'm waiting.

Are you using the latest v1.5.1 firmware on your Draytek ?

On my 2wire2701 and VT/Huawei modem I have two different IPs and they can change to a different pair if I reboot. So it is either a Draytek bug or a local BT set up error.

Ok, BT have fixed it.

A BRAS misconfiguration in their network - limited to my 'area' apparently.
Thankfully nothing to do with my Draytek - feel much better now.
