BT email possibly hacked

I've been locked out of my BTYahoo email account. I get the Invalid details message in red, even though I know I've entered it all correctly. I'm afraid I might have been hacked, so what's the best way to sort this out? Anyone got the relevant phone numbers? It's pretty urgent.

It may just be that the E-mail servers are throwing a wobbly! I regularly get refused login but, after a while, they let me back in.

My wifes BT email was automatically suspended apparently due to a flood of spam.

BT fixed it, but she had to change her Password.

Took blood*y ages though to find the right number to ring to get it sorted out.

Panic over, but thanks for all the useful advice and numbers. Something was throwing a wobbly as you say, as I tried on three computers and none would let me log in. But later, all's back to normal again. Whew!!!! Can I export my contacts to another program, as that would be a very good backup plan in case of major disasters in the future?

You can export a csv file, which pretty well any email client program will import. Things get messy though wrt external mail servers and Return addresses when you are on BT. I'm currently looking at one on and off for a friend. So it may not help much.
