BT FON - won't recognie my username and p/w

[link to this post]

Hi,

Got the email from BT with my [email protected] and the password.

Tried to register with BT FON as I will want to use it when I visit rellies (I know there's an access point nearby whcih I can use|). But, the system says the username and/or password is wrong - evn though I am cutting and pasting from the email ... (also tried a "manual" entry as well!).

Any ideas what to do?

Cheers,

Rob

Are you getting a "space" copied at the end of either? Easily done, and screws things up. Click well to the right of them when in the entry field and see where the cursor goes.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
My domains, website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Internet connection - IDNet Home Starter Fibre. Live BQM.

Strange ... just tried again, and it now lets me in ... so all now seems okilydokily

Flakey???

Cheers,

Rob

You just need to omit the @btinternet.com from the username.
