Home Hub 2 Signal Strength

Hi all
Im on BT Broadband during the evenings and sometimes in the day my signal drops to low and im only 12ft away from the hub, is there a better router out there to replace this and givea stronger signal im quite happy with the spped i get.

Would it be to many wireless signals on the same channels or the ones left and right to it. I keep my router on a channel only 1 other uses. People might turn on their router when want to use it at night and then also in the day sometimes and so causes you grief. Just a thought.

do you have this on the computer.

The only thing i got running is a workstation no playstations etc

Daniel was saying get this software so you can see what channels are being used by who all around you. elps you then make a more informed choice when changing wireless channels!

How do you know?

Some wireless networks hide from the usual PC wifi finder utilities, or they may be there, but with a low level signal so are not listed, but just enough to cause problems.
