Speed upgrade

just got an email (two actually) from BT saying they have upgraded our exchange and that I should now be receiving faster speeds. Did a speed check (connected laptop to cable first) and hey presto over 2 times faster. Now getting over 13Mb connection with 1 Mb upload. Last time I checked (two weeks ago) we did not have an upgrade date for the exchange.

Totally unexpected and a lovely early Christmas present from BT
