BT hotspots, FON etc...

There are three people in the house that use the net quite a bit. Can they all use my login to access hot spots out and about? Also, do they have to navigate to the stupid login page each time to get on the net? Especially difficult on a smart phone.

I guess they could, but not sure about multiple logons at the same time, have to try it and find out. There is a BT Fon App available, makes it a lot easier to logon.

Don't think multiple logons work, tried it before and i recall it failing. As for the logon page yes its a PITA and no app available for Blackberry but here even the app is a bit hit or miss.

i guess bt fon and openzone are the same thing. connected, but when i access a web page i does not bring up any log on screen. pants. the app i [censored], you need an internet connection if you need to find a hot spot. the reason to find a hotspot is to get logged in.

Select the button saying BT Totalbroadband and use your email address and password.

edit: I logged on with a netbook and Android phone at the same time, so that multiple access worked.

Both my phone and my dads phone work at the same time on our android handsets with the same username. The BT Fon app really helps with the log on sequence!

There is a "BT Fon" app for android that works well -- it can be set to automatically login on to fon/openzone hotspots...

I think there's an iOS app too
