rfs date set 30/01/2012

hi sam knows says the rfs date is set for the end of jan. does this mean we can get infinity after this date. thanks.

all depends if BT can be bothered to upgrade your street cabinet

Probably but not definitely.

The dates have a habit of slipping back so it might not happen then at all, and sometimes not every cabinet linked to the exchange gets converted on/before that date.

The only way to tell for sure is to check with the availability checker at http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome after the RFS date. Even that has been reported to not be 100% accurate, but you should get a full refund if you order and it turns out to not be available on your line.

I'm afraid that is just BT Wholesale catching up and providing ADSL2+, which Sky and TalkTalk, (and TalkTalk Wholesale resellers), already do.

It says FTTC "Not available". Infinity is BT Retail's FTTC offering.
