Upgrade from 40gb to unlimited infinity

Has anyone ver achieved this on BT's web site? It's ridiculous.

Thanks I ended up phoning them and they were quite efficient. I should have asked them but I wonder why it takes to next Tuesday to move me from one package to another.

Realistically it doesn't, it can be done the next day but BT's systems or some reason take a week.

I am getting lost on the BT site....
If I start out on the 40GB package, it appears it is easy to upgrade later to unlimited, right?

I am with BE on an unlimited package and have no real idea of total monthly usage. Just checked my router and it reports 4.5GB down / 1.5GB up over 9 days. Would this count as 6GB total with BT, i.e. is down and up added together?

Easy enough to upgrade, but you have to do it over the phone and it takes a week. I found 40gb very limiting though.

Thanks. I will start on the cheaper option, then upgrade as there seems to be no penalty for this. I don't suppose they let you downgrade as easily!
