The BT checker thingy said I could get it from March 30th.
Just checked it tonight and it now says 30th June!
Anyone else in this position?

Quarter end dates like that are just placeholders. It jiust means "not before". It's very common for such a slip to happen late in the third month.
I'm afraid you will find literally hundreds of such reports on here over the last couple of years if you have a week to spare looking for them.

Mine was due to go live March too, the cab is there and powered (last lot of work on it was 2 weeks ago), but only till today has the checker shown FTTC estimate of 40/10 with date June, previously it didn't say anything.

Really?
Your cabinet is planned to have WBC FTTC by 30th June 2012. Our test also indicates that your line currently supports a fibre technology with an estimated WBC FTTC Broadband where consumers have received downstream line speed of 40Mbps and upstream line speed of 10Mbps.
Interesting turn of phrase for 'not before'. Plans are of course subject to change but to say 'not before' isn't accurate. If FTTC is late BT are not enabling according to original plans but have had to amend them.

LOL.
You are quite right . Brain failure here. "Expected before" would be better, but the rest of my post is sound.

Now connected at 40/10 a nice step up from 2Mbits
4th to be connected at my cab, I'm expecting nearly everyone in the village to take a connection due to our distance on the exchange so sync speed will drop over the coming months I expect.

Mine was showing available on Sunday so now ordered through Quidco speed estimated 67/20
