Question regarding changing download usage/tariff.

Hi

I recently moved to BT Broadband on Option 1 which has a 10gb limit.
I'm finding that I use at least 30gb per month.

The offer when I joined was for 4 months free (I only pay line rental), my question therefore is if I upgrade to Option 2, will it wipe out my remaining free months??

And secondly, do BT reset the contract period back to 18 months whenever you change tariffs?

Probably! Option 2 is currently half-price, £9 pm, for 4 months.

I don't know how anyone could use so little.

For 12 months on IDNet FTTC I never exceeded 8.3GB download. That includes metered off-peak, but uploads were unlimited/unmetered.
