Not keen on signing up again for another 18months, quite like the position I am in where if I wished I could jump ship and also my predicted speeds are 55.9Mb download
18.0Mb upload. Not really much of an upgrade from 40/10 to be honest.
1 day into the upgrade for speeds, mine has actually dropped from 32Mbps to 29Mbps for download and from 3.8Mbps to 3.9Mbps upload (averaged over several speed tests).
What I do see on something similar to the tbb speed meter (I'm using DU Meter) is that rather than a level speed during the tests, it now has minor peaks and troughs. Curious.

Ummmm .
Definitely not much. A mere 39.75% downstream and 80% upstream increase.
And ...

on a serious note however, just had a look at my unlocked modem stats and I don`t even see where I would get the predicted download figs as it looks nowhere near? Was thinking what the hell just upgrade but I really do wonder how long my line really is
I see what you mean. It would need the fuller stats, with all the attenuations and bit loadings, for the ones who are into analysing those to see if you have a problem.
