BT loss of telephony and BT broadband

I'm not sure if anyone here uses the Bermondsey exchange. I have complete loss of service, so do my neighbours, and what could be related, none of the cash machines in the local area work.

I've looked at the BT site and they report no outages either with Broadband or Telephony. I wonder if their system is slow to update. Are there any other sites I can check?

I registered a fault with my line and an automated message says they don't expect to fix it before the 3rd of May - so assume it must be something pretty major like a fire or something

Susspect its a cut/damaged main cable from the exchange

Yes, just been on to them and after half an hour they said cable has been cut dut to vandalism or cable theft. Nothing on their status page though
