Significant issues this afternoon (Wales/West Midlands)

[link to this post]

Is anyone else (probably in Wales or West Midlands area) experiencing significant issues with Infinity this afternoon?

Latency is 11ms one minute and then 900ms+ the next.

You could say that, got a connection timed out just trying to reach the reply page. Cannock area, been terrible since about midday. Pages not loading, DNS failures, almost no data throughput, mixed with periods when it's all fine. Seems to be affecting plenty of people:

While that may be the route cause the effects are much more widespread than the area codes they're quoting.

That page just times out for me. Browsing is currently appalling, pages either take an age to load or just time out. Time for BT to get their finger out! I'm just going to have to go back to the gardening frown

Problem now seems to be resolved here (Crewe, Cheshire). Not sure when as I have only just tried it again.

Edit: I was wrong, latency is now upto 55x normal and I am seeing packet loss of upto 70% mad
