Hi Bat, BT rang yesterday evening - tier two - and had me explain the situation yet again!
I told them that 5 tests over yesterday - noon to ten pm - gave me 3 >55meg & 2 <20meg. They had previously mentioned contention, along with another poster, but just tested @ 5am with 18meg. Not over-use by others at this time of the morning, surely?
They said they'd monitor it for another week and then get an engineer to call, if necessary. They sent an engineer round last Sunday morning when we were out, without ever telling me one was booked. Had I known then I could have been in, and maybe got this sorted..
Ah well, c'est ;a vie.

Hi Bat, not up to now - but thanks for the links.
I thought I'd let BT have their rein, and do what they need to, just in case they come up with some nonsense about the problem being because I interfered with their kit!
Just came in and did a speedtest - 65.602meg........
