Hope they stay that way, but no doubt it will go down once a few more people get onto the service

Why bother taking a screenshot, saving it as a suitable file, then uploading to a hosting site and then providing a link to it? Why not just provide a direct link to the Speedtest.net result? The URL is even included on teh image you have linked to. It would be so much easier all round.

Yes, I can never understand why go to trouble of a hosting site when a simple copy and paste will do. As bonus you can even read it inline.

Six months ago there were 42. I was the fourth, 20 months ago.

That's interesting.
How does one find out how many are connected?
My DS speeds are lower then when first connected in June 2011.
Interleaving has some negative effect on DS speeds & also so does increasing US speed from up to 2Mb to up to 10Mb.

Could also be related to cross talk. Not directly related to a "network" slowdown.

I was actually thinking it may be crosstalk related as I was referring to Sync speeds (unlocked HG612) rather than throughput speeds affected by network contention (although they have obviously also lowered as sync speeds have lowered).
I still usually see throughput speeds at around 97% of IP Profile which is around 96.79% of sync speed - at all times of the day, which suggests I'm not experiencing network contention issues, but my QLN graph does show a "noisier" connection than it used to be.

By asking the engineer who connected me, and one I saw messing in the PCP cab - asked him if he'd tell me how many were connected on the patch panel.
It's called a VCF. (Verbal Communication Facility).

Ah, that explains it .
VCF hasn't been fully rolled out where I live yet.
Some engineers refuse to even tell you what your connection stats are (on the grounds they could even lose their job if their manager found out)
