Broken both my homehubs?

[link to this post]

Well yeah i tried to connect both my homehubs 3.0 TypeB today to carry out some tests the broadband light is dead and went through the trouble shooting ect

i'm currently using a tp-link which works great could this be the cause of the homehubs not working for some reason

or i have really bad luck?

Two modems on one ADSL2+ will not work, BUT it should not break them.

Certainly did not years ago when I tried it out of curiosity.

If you do a reset to defaults does this breath any life back into the modem side?

Are you trying to connect more than one router to the Openreach modem at the same time?
Only one can establish the pppoe connection.

Keep it plugged in for a good 2 hours and the other will probably work. Just the way it is sometimes on fibre

On BE there was a time limit due to the MAC address. I wonder if this is the same?

You aren't connecting one to the LAN2 port? It's disabled, only LAN1 works.
