I'm having BT Infinity installed on Monday and my Hub arrived yesterday. I decided to power the hub up and take a look at what I can and can't change. The problem I have is that I cannot browse to the Hub.
I am allocated an IP address in the 192.168.1.x range by the Hub and I can ping the Hub ok (192.168.1.254.)
I have tried browsing to http://bthomehub/home and http:192.168.1.254, neither of which get me access. I have tried IE, Firefox and Chrome with both wired and wireless connections. I have rebooted my PC and the Hub.
Should I be able to browse to the Hub even though it has no internet connection? Am I missing something obvious? Any ideas?
