Faulty BT Home Hub 2.0

Hi,

A friend of mine, asked me to have a look to see why the internet wasn't working.
So I checked it and the BT Home Hub 2.0 has all 3 blue lights lit on the front indicating its working, but no traffic going through to the pc or laptop via cable or wifi.

I've tried restart and turning it off at the mains. This gets it working for about 30 minutes then the through put dies again.

The query is, are they able to get a free replacement home hub from bt, as they only renewed for another 18 months about 4 months ago?

Get him to report it as a fault ........

Probably a fault, but try a Factory Reset. Some people report that clears HH problems, but may need doing three times.
