BT Sports to be available on retail Youview boxes

Apparently BT have changed their minds about insisting that BT Sports will only be available on Youview boxes that they supplied. Owners of retail Youview boxes will also have access:-

Good news for me and my free trial box as that will be more convenient than using the computer app and I don't have a Sky box.

BT have now confirmed that people with BT Infinity and their own retail YouView box will have to subscribe to a BT TV package which start at £5/month, once the 'technical solution' (set-top box software upgrade) is in place:
