Aside from doing it thro' your own MyBT.

The links in My BT just seem to shunt people to the links you gave previously, and it asks for a phone number and postcode even when logged in.

That's the main problem really, the calling plan and calling features order options are always disconnected from authenticated My BT logins.

But add-ons are not shown in the My BT panel?

Does anyone subscribed to Anytime Calls find that "My BT" tells you you have Weekend calls only?
Yes - this is a known bug in the website, but the bills work out correctly.

I used to hate having to log-in to my BT account to download the pdf bill - couldn't do it from the email. As long as I can remember the BT site has always had some bug or another. End of contract date was something I could never find also...

No they are not, the whole BT website is a mess that really needs sorting out, there needs to be clear links to show exactly what packages you have and how to amend them, Sky is no better, they reel you in once you have taken a bite of the hook, and then make it as difficult as possible to change to lower package.

I know downgrading TV packages is impossible via the control panel, that's a retention policy I think.

My Sky does at least show "Anytime" packages and "Caller display" when activated:

No, it doesn't for me. When logged in to MyBT, it has phone # (& account) already filled in and no mention of postcode (unless you select someone else's #), thus:
* XRaySpeX Home
Phone Number 01234567890
Account Number TH98765432

0 Or enter the details of another phone line *

# I confirm that I am the account holder
whereas the public screen gives only:
Phone number * ___________
Postcode * ______________
Don't know postcode?

# I confirm I am the account holder
i.e. the 'enter the details of another phone line' of the logged in one.

Also with the logged-in one you don't need to confirm you are the account holder. grin Notice the additional word 'that' in the logged-in confirmation.

EDIT: I thought from our other discussion on QLT that you are on Sky, so won't have a MyBT login.

Perhaps it's to do with the route taken.

On the screen "Hi <your name>" what do you click on to upgrade your calling plan?

Correct, but I know someone who is.
