That was referring to the 2013 price rise, new ones just appeared today and come into effect 4th Jan 2014.

I read it as all those that have signed up for 'privacy' telephone preference service, will now be charged for caller ID, unless they actively turn it off.
one bright side, plenty of chance to escape current minimum term contracts.

Let's hope they remove the 5p a use charge too! That's the Return the call charge on 1471 isn't it? I never pay that! First the number will be on the phone's call log so just let that dial, second any caller leaving a message leaves name and/or number, third I never ring out to 01/02 numbers during week daytimes as I only have and E & W plan. Always use my mobile.
