Hi
Anyone on this package seeing any protocol download speeds limited to 20mbps? I am synced at 64 Mbps, and have a BRAS of 62 Mbps however HTTP or P2P or any other traffic doesn not seem to go over 20 Mbps :/
Regards
Bobby

No but a lot of wireless kit can't go faster than 20 meg. Especially G.
How are you connected to the router?

yea, I saw my tbb speed tests reporting just 20mbit this afternoon,
wasnt logged into tbb on that machine at the time though so cant link to the test results
back to usual now.
edit 20:40
just tried it again
first on a fast machine with wireless, 20mbit,
same machine wired, 20mbit
other machine that had ~38mbit when I posted earlier, now 20mbit.
but I did note I have a new ip address since before this edit.
tests: (all wired)

Are you on the new truly unlimited package? If so when did you sign up for it?

I have found this as well.
Got installed on Friday with an unlimited 80:20 product. Synched at 78/19.
Speed tests after installation were as expected - 71 down/17 up.
But over the weekend this has dropped to 20/20 while the synch is still at 78/19.
What's going on? No point in me paying for a 80/20 service if it is not.
Will give them until Thursday then reporting it as fault.

definitely looks like throttling somewhere,
tbb speed tests today are all 20mbit, as is speedtest.net
however, the btwholesale speedtest says about 40
restarting the hub/router made no difference.

April/May 2013 I think, so yes the truely unlimited package, without any throttling.

Good idea. Could be related to the rain of course.

I don't think its rain or rein, my wholesale speed test shows 'last mile' working at line speed, but other speed testers show 20mbit

What does the Further Diagnostics, (button at the bottom of the first results page), of the BT Wholesale performance test say in the two text boxes please? Best to copy and paste the full contents of those.

I'm on the Infinity Unlimited and I have seen a 10Mbs drop in speed since being connected in June.
Throttling wouldn't surprise me either.

Well, decided to follow some of the advice on the BT forums and restart my router (HH5).
And that seems to have resolved it. Back up to 70+ Mbps on speedtesters.

this is still occurring,
downloaded win8.1 update earlier (almost 4GByte!), - clamped to 20mbit, so took half an hour.

Caught them at it, speed normally excellent.
Then this evening noticed dropped by half.
Changed from port 119 to another and speed went up again, naughty.
