a friend of mine on BT broadband cannot access any tumblr websites or blogs what so ever.

Can u tell me if any of u are having the same issues please?

AMD FX-8320 X8, MSI 990FXA-GD80, 16GB DDR 3 Cosair Vengence 1600Mhz, 9351.1GB Hard Disk Space, 2GB ATI 6670 HD PCI-E 16x Graphics, 850watt PSU.

Ex AOL Dialup 56k Customer....
Ex Freedom2Surf 512k and Ex Eclipse Internet 2mb Customer.

Virgin Media 152mb Cable.

There is an interesting item on the PCpro website this morning about site blocking by ISPS. Talk Talk block 13,126, BT block 5,229 and Plusnet just 2. Many sites are blocked which shouldn't be like a Porsche brokers website! Whether Tumblr comes on any of the lists I wouldn't know.

Only if you have the blocking turned on, and none of the fixed line services have it turned on by default unlike the mobile ones.

There is a question to be challenged with the wording, since the blocks sometimes imply adult content, which a business might feel is damaging to their reputation beyond the blocking itself.

Can someone try www.badoo.com for me, sorry for hijacking the thread I am on Virgin Media and can only get on that site using a proxy...I've tried different browsers and still cant get on it! A tracert to www.badoo.com fails I get a 127.0 reply, a tracert to http://www.badoo.com seems to work but again fails to load on Firefox/Chrome
