Hello

Just been banned without a reason, any idea who I can contact? I don't think they appreciated me pointing out how slow they are to respond to complaints.

I'm not very surprised because if you're not sucking up to BT over there you're not getting helped.

You may have to delete a few cookies - or use Private mode in the browser, or another browser, or VPN smile

Sorted now, went for private browsing.

Guess I best tread more carefully going forward then! Clearly questioning BT in anyway is ban worthy

As is often the case, I suspect it more the way you questioned them that they took exception to.

Questioned how they are able to delete posts moments after posting but ignore pleas for help for weeks on end.

I'm guessing that was it, they never said.

Also, try to avoid swearing there (I see you managed to trip the swear filter here).

I generally avoid swearing. Tripped it here for the mildly rude name for the bottom.

Clearly questioning BT in anyway is ban worthy

There are plenty of people questioning BT on the forum and not getting banned.

I do think that they should give a warning (and delete the post) for most things they consider transgressions; and only ban instantly for repeated or serious offences, and even then tell you what the offence was.

If the mods banned you, they generally send you a PM, If you were banned by one of the Gurus, they don't.
When you attempt to log on, the ban reason is usually displayed. So I've heard, anyway.

If you really want to know, fill in the form - http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4950
