Can't Access My Website from BT Internet

Over the past couple of days I have not been able to access my own web site and email from my BT broadband. I can access everything via my mobile phone and from my work Internet connection. I can access my hosting company's web site. I will contact them, but does anyone have any ideas of the problem or had a similar situation? My site is www.amersham.org.uk it is a web site about where I live. All a bit strange, would BT have blocked it?

I can get in by using the link in your post.
If you can`t get access from your home PC or other device it must be an internet setting on your home network that needs looking at, not sure which, but a browser or firewall setting might be wrong.?

I am on BT Unlimited (ADSL2+) and I can access it fine.
Try pinging your site in the command prompt.

ping www.amersham.org.uk

You should see something like the following:

Pinging amersham.org.uk [193.189.74.98] with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.

If you see something like the following:

Ping request could not find host www.amersham.org.uk. Please check the name and
try again.

Then try ping like the following:

ping -4 www.amersham.org.uk

And if that works you have an issue with IPv4 and IPv6.

However if it fails to return that IP address then try flushing your DNS Cache by the following:

ipconfig /flushdns

It should return the following:

Windows IP Configuration

Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

Thank you so much for helping and checking. the web site was not accessible from any device on my network. Good news that it still can be seen elsewhere from BT. I have an Apple MAC, so rather than workign out how to flush the DNS I thought I woudl try the technical solution of turnig the Hub off and on - problem solved! All very strange that it was my own wed site that was not accessible!

Glad you resolved it, to me it seems like it was a DNS issue and rebooting your Hub would of possibly given you a new IP and possible new DNS addresses.
