Usage stats

Ever since BT removed the usage stats from the control panel page, is there a way for me to know how much I have used a month? Ask them?

My BT contract is due to expire soon and I want to look around but it obviously depends on our usage!

You can still get to the page

In MyBT click view my latest bill

Look at the web address and make a note of your " ackey "

Add that number to the end of this link:

It's saying that I have used 135GB but it does not state what date period. I'm assuming it's past 30 days?

I think it is your current billing period (ie it gets reset on your billing date).

It should say up to and including... on the left hand side.

It is current calendar month, usually to yesterday.

So if you check it on the 1st day of the month you'll get your usage for the previous month. Or check it on the last day of the month for close enough!

That's better than I expected then. Although it does mean I've done a pitiful amount of transfer despite watching some UHD streaming and doing Win 10 updates and various other bits.

Does it include non-chargeable usage from watching BT TV on a Youview box? Mine does seem to be more in the expected ball park when counting that in than not (although the data monitor on my mobile phone does seem to show that half of it is down to podcast downloads so maybe not).

Not sure about You view usage, you'd think it wouldn't be included, but not so sure!
