Email delivery failure

[link to this post]

Dont know if this is the right board to post this but it concerns email delivery failure to btopenworld.co and btinternet.com email addresses.
I am a Neighbourhood co-ordinator for the road where I live and have been forwarding emails to my members for several years without problems until today. Three of my members have email addresses with btopenworld.co and btinternet.com and today I received a delivery failure to these addresses from the postmaster at btinternet with the Diagnostic-Code: smtp;554 Message rejected for policy reasons (3.2.2.1)!
Does anyone have any information what this diagnostic code means?

Yes it has been mentioned on the BT forum, posting there will have the best chance of being noticed by BT staff: https://community.bt.com/t5/Email/error-message-554-...

Oliver.

Thank you Oliver341, who assures me that they have past on the details to Cyren which is the company BT that handles their mail filtering. I can only hope and wait for the problem to be resolved. frown

Hmmm.

Raised there on Monday the 5th, nothing since Friday. "The BT Mail team have enough details now to get this investigated".

No-one should use ISP email, it's an anachronistic free add-on that is not central to any ISP's business. Low priority support level.

ISP-independent email and web hosting.

The indispensable man or woman passes from the scene, and what happens next is more or less the same thing as was happening before.
My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - AAISP Home::1 80/20. Sync 59999/14372kbps @ 600m. - BQM
