Just out of interest, has anyone on unlimited Infinity 2 had their free increase to 500GB cloud storage yet?
Just been on online chat as I haven't had mine and the cs reps seemed to know nothing about it despite it being on their website and me receiving an email saying it would happen on 3rd July!

I don't use it but I've just checked and I have 500GB now so it has applied to my account.

I was thinking abut starting to use it as 500GB is actually usable but not had mine upgraded yet. Seems to be a bit hit and miss at moment. Most seem to have had it but some, including myself have not . . . .

Ironic that I don't use it but have it and you want to use it and struggling to get it...
I have an Office 365 account and so have 10TB of storage in that so haven't bothered with the BT storage.

Be aware that if you change ISP, you will lose it (unless you pay more to keep it) and the last time I checked, there is no way to migrate the files to another cloud provider, so something to consider.

At the very least you can do a 2 stage migration, ie copy all the files from BT cloud to local storage and then copy from local back to another cloud. A direct copy may not be possible but BT Cloud wouldn't be alone in that issue.

I used https://mover.io to migrate my files from Dropbox to Google Drive - pretty easy. And free.
I'm just saying that the customers needs to be aware when they end their contract.

How long ago did you start the contract? I'm sure all the different offer/deals on the system will be updated in time, but the newer ones probably got done first. Funny enough, employees with free Infinity 2 still have 50GB only

I originally migrated to BT from Plusnet in April. Then, 2 weeks ago, I re-contracted (12 month contract) so I could get the Smart Hub for free.

Just a heads up, on both my accounts I have, I got the increased Cloud storage today, I only got 1 email for 1 of them. Checking them both, they're 500GB now
