just singed up to bt fibre with sky at the moment was wondering why i cant set up my bt email address tryed with mybt

If you signed up to bt fibre with Sky then you don't get a BT email address but a Sky one, since your provider is Sky.

Hence why mybt is not working for you

Sorry my mistake ive switched over to bt it doesn't get activated till 4th of July but thought i could set up a bt email address

Ah I got the wrong end of the stick...

First thing is can you sign in on the MyBT portal at https://home.bt.com/

Should be able to set up the email via My Extras and the BT Mail Panel

Get yourself a Gmail account, Then you will never need to change email address even if you change internet provider

I prefer Outlook as I like to stay out of the Google leakosphere.

But whichever you choose you can get it to automatically scrape emails sent to your BT email address and write and reply as though it has come from your BT email address if you wish.
