My old Hub 4 and Hub 5 used to regularly drop my connection and seemed to be caused by the remote monitoring code. Since moving to a Smarthub I haven't had any more problems.

Since disabling wifi entirely on my HH5 I no longer get disconnections, which were daily.
A hefty sprinkling (6 discs) of BT WholeHome wifi now covers my property.

That is an interesting suggestion, thank you, I will give it a try for a few days and see if the disconnections stop.
