BT BB 10Gb usage package still in exsistence?

I am not a BT customer but I would like to know the following as a friend insists it still is 10 Gb usage; this may be a silly question to ask but here we go. Are people who had the BT BB package with a limited 10GB/month usage years ago still stuck with this usage quota or did BT upgraded all those on this package to Unlimited usage?

Don't think they did an auto upgrade to unlimited, so if you think someone is on it and needs more data allowance they need to see about switching.

Pricing may be different of course - hence why no auto upgrade programme.

I was under the impression that BT had upgraded all on the 10Gb package to unlimited but obviously not.

I do know someone who will need more data allowance shortly as circumstances have changed but I did not want to give them the wrong advice that perhaps their package is now unlimited when it isn't.

bt certainly still sell limited packages, - often referred to as lite.

From October 2017 we increased all the allowances for our limited usage products for existing customers. 12GB went to 15GB, 25GB went to 30GB and 45GB went to 50GB.
