BT Smart Hub Manager System Uptime query.

Just noticed my system uptime is 1 day 12 hours..., network uptime is 24 days 8 hours...in technical log it says DSL uptime 29 days 21 hours....the router has never been off so why did the system uptime reset a day and a half ago? and why does network uptime not match DSL uptime?
Apologies for my ignorance, I�m not that tech savvy. I know these things aren�t important but I�m curious.

Basically you never lost sync to the exchange (i.e. 29 days), but the connection went down between the exchange and BT's network (i.e. 24 days) and for the 1 day BT reset your IP maybe.

This is all just guess work here.

They reboot every 14 days, or at least mine did.

The 14 day reboot issue has been fixed in the latest firmware, but now it just resets the system uptime after 30 days, but at least it doesn't reboot anymore.

Robert my firmware is 27-Jul-2017, is that the most recent firmware? Does the Smart Hub auto update firmware? I don't think my router reboots after 14 days.

My Smart Hub only reset every 30 odd days (not a fan of stuff rebooting for no reason), sadly the Wi-Fi was rubbish, the GUI is sluggish, too many bugs and there was no place to report these issues too.

And yes the Smart Hub auto updates its firmware and then reboots itself

That is rare, but saying that mine has only crashed, well more locked up the once, but it has always suffered with sluggishness form day one, so its not up to par to handle my connection.

TBH The Smart Hub is better than a lot of Modems / Routers, but its trash.

I have had endless issues with the device and have even reported these to BTCare via Twitter. and BT via Emails and over the phone, all have told me they will pass this onto the relevant team and that it will be fixed in the next firmware rollout.

Now 2 to 3 firmware updates later none of these issues have been resolved, so I will keep the Smart Hub for when I have issues on my line and BT need to do some tests.
