Setting up BT WiFi on a new Samsung A16 phone.

Apologies if I am in the wrong place, but I have had a bad week. Old mobile let me down when on a min break in the Lakes, lost internet connection unless I was in the hotel! Now can no longer access the promised BT Wi Fi App, even though it is still on their Halo benifits page. Can anyone help. I am no longer very good on the mobile but I really need very simple help!!!

Bit of clarification, please. Are you telling us that you have moved to a new phone and that cannot access the BT WiFi or that you are still on the old phone and the BT WiFi connection no longer works?

Just checked on the app store and it seems that app is no longer available. It seems the functionality is now part of the EE app which presumably happened as part of the BT to EE rebrand for its domestic broadband and TV services.

I still have the old app which is useful for auto-logging on to the wi-fi hotspots provided by other BT/EE broadband customers.

Thanks for your comments and advice. BT community actually replied to me and with their help and yours, I now seem to be up and running... Well hobbling. Thank you again.
