Do you mean one is blue and the other white, or one blue with a white stripe and the other white with blue blodges?

Sorry to harp on about this, but it could be important.

Are you also saying there are two extensions connected to it?

Seems in line with BT's exchange checker. Is that different from the one you have seen? Can you link to it if so please?

Ahh, my mistake. Confirmed. ADSL24 is saying Feb to April. Samknows says nothing.

I would lean towards caution and guess that ADSL24 have not updated their records.

Roberto. To clarify:-

There are 4 terminals numbered 2,3,4 and 5

Terminal 2 has a blue wire with occasional white spots

Terminal 3 has a white wire with orange spots

Terminal 4 has an orange wire

Terminal 5 has a white wire with blue blotches.


I have disconnected the wires to terminals 3 and 4.

I am getting very consistent D/L speeds of 4.37Mb/s, (Speedtest.net) which is better than it has ever been ,partciularly at this time in the morning!

That's fine . Correct colour pairing and almost certainly the correct grade of cable.

Looking at BT's latest 21CN roll out list (dated 7th April) Stonehaven is no longer scheduled for 21CN We'll update our website accordingly.

Why am I not surprised?

They did the same with our exchange. Was planned for Jan 2011 and then in Dec it just totally disappeared from the list. Surprisingly they've now announced FTTC for our exchange so that's better Hopefully they do the same for yours!

I've noticed on the site I'm ticked for 21cn now. But still awaiting confirmation via supplier (got a ticket open).

Also haven't received email or anything notifiying me. For some reason I still doubt that 21CN is available, even if it is 1 year late.

Also waiting on info for C&W. You got any news for my exchange? (Toll Bar - CMTOL)
