Prehaps all the isps should be forced by ofcom to announce on certain dates there plans, instead of waiting for each other to go first.

Since Bt's list has now been published, will we see TT and sky's list soon in response?

Possibly a stupid question but should the list of exchanges published below actually contain all the exchanges in the uk?

https://www.btwholesale.com/pages/static/Community/B...

I ask mainly because I cant see my exchange (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/MYOAT) on it :'( Not the biggest exchange in the country by a long long way I know but even some kind of date would be nice.

My exchange not listed either.

Neither my exchange too. I reckon we will have FTTC by late 2014/15 I reckon. BT are very slow roll out as BT enabled ADSL in 2004, ADSL Max in 2006, 21CN ADSL2+ in 2011 and probably FTTC in either 2014 or 2015.

The first and many quoted reason, for such rural exchanges not to be upgraded is customer base and the profit which I can entirely understand, however I have been suspicious of this reasoning as my experience has been the opposite. Unfortunately again the opposite.

I know my area, WNNN and the town it serves it is largest town in the county, it has the area 6th form college and secondary education base, it has the largest employer in whole of Mid Wales the Emerson group, it has more residential lines etc. Surely WNNN exchange had the economic case! Over WNLNS and WNWPL. I appreciate they are RFS dates however they been noticed and also I have other options, however If anyone could give some reasoning on behalf of the BT group it would greatly appreciated.

My views are my experiences.
