Yes, I don't understand either, it's quite frustrating but if customer support do call back I am now armed with much more information.

That's rubbish from ADSL24. Of course you can downgrade from Office 90 to 45 because it just the change usage allowance by Entanet. ALSL24 rep is liar. Get a mac key and move to other isp instead. Or you can email entanet to make a complaint.

If it say Office 90 to Home 45 (that's mean BT Wholesale had to change from office to home product on the line)

If it say Office 90 to Office 45 (that's mean it only change the usage allowance but still on same office product. No need for BT Wholesale to change it)

An interesting development: on Friday my request went from rejected to completed. I don't know what has changed, but ADSL 24 seem to have been able to finally push through the change so for now I can stick with them and we'll see what happens when Datastream is withdrawn early next year. Thanks again everyone for your help!
