Quicker way to get IP Profile here: https://windows.mouselike.org/be/index.asp?DoAction=...
That doesn't work either returns some scripted error everytime
What service and ISP are you with now tommy?

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Three 4G, tbb tests normally 35-45Mpbs down, 65Mbps off-peak, 9-24 up. BQM

Zen via BT WBC the further diag, which is supposed to display the IP profile and enable the TAP3 test when throughput is deemed to below BT's threshold Just gives some error about trying again, wich so matter how many times you try results in the same message, lol

I notice BT have changed their 'speedtest/IP profile' and 'availability' websites:

http://www.speedtest.btwholesale.com and http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/
The latter is now https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/ .

Good to see BT are s l o w l e y looking at their website tools.
I notice http://www.speedtest.btwholesale.com/ has gone back to a non-FLASH version which is good to see.

Hasn't made the results any more accurate.
True, and it still wont display the IP profile either, another defunct part of BT, time they removed their IP profiles IMO

I get an IP Profile after carrying out the 'further diags' option.

You would think/hope that the BT people that introduced the https would also arrange for a redirection from the http ! #halfajob

This URL, found through Google, seems to work at the moment: http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/totl.login?identif...

interestingly the link took me to the checker and when I put in my phone number it then told me all about my service icluding where the ONT was in the house and it wasnt until I logged out that the warning disclaimer came up!!!

The DSL tchecker now includes an Observed Speeds VDSL section showing the download and upload speeds and date of tests. It may have been there ages, but it's new to me.
Anyway the speed it shows is the speed my router is connected at, which is confirmed by Speedofme showing 68.4mbps compared to BT's 72.3mbps.

About a year, IIRC. Maybe a bit longer. I think the first report of it here might have been by adslmax.

Iím not sure what those two apparently speed test figures have to do with the sync speed, other than that they cannot legitimately exceed it, but the speed your router is connected at is not shown by speed tests. Only the router stats tell us that.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.

Not just VDSL, but ADSL & G.Fast, if you're on them.

It's the observed max sync speed of your router at the time. Nowt to do with any speedtests or "SpeedOfMe".
