Cancel Flash

I have a Fuji Finepix S5700 and wish to cancel flash on a tempory basis.I have tried Fuji help pages but to no avail.
Please advise.

Back of your camera to the right of the screen should be a large round button marked menu ok. Surrounding it are 4 buttons at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. The button at 3 o'clock toggles the flash mode between auto, on, off, etc.
