Two problems here, the thread is from 2013 and secondly he did say free.
But while we are on the subject, Adobe is subscription, so you are for ever paying for it and also Adobe premier is a resource hog.
After effect is pretty good, but again Adobe UI is awful and hogs the resources of the computer before it does the job it is suppose to do.
Sony Vegas is better for video editing, not that it is sony anymore it is Magix.
I myself do not use vegas anymore, i use hitfilm, at the moment i use the express version but will be getting the pro version once I updated the computer.
