I currently have the 510v4 in a box, whats the difference between that and the v6 for adsl1.

Also the belkin 7633 for a wired network and ADSL1 does it offer adavtanges over the speedtouch 510v4 thanks.

I have owned and used all three of these. In terms of the connection stability they can achieve, it depends on what ADSL product you are on and on your line quality. If you are on a fixed speed product, or are on Max with a low loss, low noise line that can sync at 8 meg with room to spare, there probably won't be much to choose between them.

If (like me) you are on Max and have a long line, some differences become apparent. The 510V4 is based on an old Alcatel chipset - highly rated in its day, but there are better options for Max these days. I used to sync between 3100 and 3800 Kbps with my 510v4, but saw 10-20 resyncs per day. The 7633 is based on the Broadcom chipset, and moving to this one improved my sync spped to 4100 - 4800 Kbps, and reduced the resyncs to 1-2 per day.

The 510v6 is based on a similar Broadcom chipset. I am using this currently - it is sync'ed at 4864 Kbps and has been for several days now... not bad for a 5km line.

In general, the Belkin's firmware seems buggy and underdeveloped compared to the Speedtouches, so I have stayed with the 510v6 for now for the improved stability. In terms of basic features (e.g. UPnP, Dynamic DNS, port forwarding), they are all pretty much the same.

yeah I ended up opting for a speedtouch 546 after failing to find a 510v6

I stuck with a brand I know that served me well in the past.
