Netgear DG814 will it work on 8MB Regrade

Hi All

I am just about to regrade my BT Business broadband as "up to 8MB" is now available in my area.
I am currently on 500kb.

I have had the router Netgear DG814 for a few yesrs now.

Will by hardware (Netgear DG814) let me get the "up to 8MB" new speeds after regrade or will I need a new modem/router?
