How can I make the BT home hub pingable ?

Hi I have ran a tweak test at dslreports.com and Im now unpingable , I am using BT's Home Hub , through command propmt I get 'request timed out' everytime i try to ping a website ... is there anything that can be done ? someone suggested start>run>TELNET API.HOME i have entered there but its way above my head

is being unpingable anything to be concerned about ?

any help would be really appreciated
