looking for a new router

[link to this post]

atm i have a dlink dsl504

Its a bit of a pain because you have to save and reboot everytime you change a setting.

I'd like a router where you dont have to reboot every time if possible

Also I'd like it to cope with p2p and gaming without freezing like i've heard some routers do.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have a adslmax connection if it matters, im not too fussed about wireless.

How are netgear routers?

DMT Tool support would be nice, but thats not going to clinch the deal.

look out for the AVM fritz!box Fon WLAN 7140

http://www.avm.de/en/

if you are into VOIP you will love it!
pays itself over time

no DMT tool, however you don't need it, holds your line even at an SNR of 1

I've just got the SpeedTouch 585 and it's brilliant. If you don't need/want wireless, get the 546.
