You probably should post in the Newnet forum as this is unlikely to be down to your hardware. I'm having a similar problem on a different ISP, and it's hard to get BT and the ISP to fix it... See http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=metronet&Number=3031806 - I've appended a useful checklist from the ISP (Metronet) that could help in diagnosing your problem too.

DSL only requires the same two wires that make your 'phone operate, and if that still works it's not likely to be a connection problem.
As you've tried with a different router, a different micro-filter, and you've tried the internal 'test' socket, with no results, it looks like the ADSL service has been ceased on your line (or there's a fault at the exchange).

Cheers Guys. I'll post this on Newnet forum and see what they say. I posted it here as some forums are a bit picky about what goes where and this seemed technical and hardware problem.
