Which port in DMT does the Netgear DG834GT use?

just purchased a new DG834GT and trying to use the DMT tool v8.07 (compatible with DG834GT) but the default port 23 doesn't work....any ideas which is correct port? firewall/av software is switched off, and i am using the right user name and password.

I think the telnet server on the DG834GT will only be enabled if debugging is enabled.

Have you tried http://192.168.0.1/setup.cgi?todo=debug
