Question..Migration

[link to this post]

So i am in the process of migrating to a new isp in the next few days and i am experiencing some [No connection .No Internet ] at present.

I am not migrating until the 29th which is next Tuesday but i am wandering how i am suppose to get inside my router to configure login password once i lose connection.

I was trying to access my netgear router this afternoon but without a internet connection it fails to get inside the router.

Now i know in the past when i have set up a new isp with login details and password i have been able to get inside the netgear router, however when my internet connection went down today i can not see whats going on because i can not get inside the router typing the 192.168.0.1 in the browser bar.

Is there a way to access the router without a internet connection...

Also i can use the computer but i can not play online on the xbox live or playstation service as it fails to find the ip address.

In the connection i notice i have local area connection on but wan miniport broadband connection of,now i keep trying to enable it and its asking me for username and password which are just not working.

Unless you have altered it, the Netgear is 192.168.0.1

Which ISP are you going to?

Seeing as he was around when I posted, it looks like that wasn't the answer he wanted smile.

Thanks Robertos
I have edited my original post as i noticed the typo error in the netgear address, main problem is this at the moment.

I can use the pc and get on the internet and stuff but all my console now fail to connect to the online service.

When i do tests it says failed to obtain ip address............I am moving to Xilo next Tuesday .

UPDATE.......
For some unknown reason it now works but it could not obtain a ip address for about 3 hours..

Wierd.

Maybe it didn't like the brandy poured into it and had to dry out?

Xilo should be good smile.

Indeed their LLU packages seem to be pleasing their customer(s)that post on TB tongue,
don't see much feedback about their non LLU broadband and suppliers???
