is there any way to improve this? ive run a line in cat5e from the master sockets test socket, it then feeds a single Xf-1e filter which connects to the modem via a belkin shielded adsl cable and a panasonic dect phone. the modem is a billion 7402nx. is there anything i can do to improve things eg. better filters?

heres my total stats using a z-420:

If you're certain that everything on your side of the NTE is good then your only option is to move house.

Or get broadband from cable, wireless, or 3G - if faster and coverage in your area etc.

(3G may give higher upload than many ADSL/cable providers!).

You haven't got a filter connected before the NTE-5 have you? It would look like a small white box.
